PRIVACY POLICY

Proto XR ("we", "us") built the AIM XR app. This policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it. Your privacy is important to us, and our policy is simple: we only collect what is necessary to make the game work, and you are in control of your data.

What We Collect and Why

To provide a competitive and social experience, we collect the following information from your Meta profile when you use AIM XR:

• Your Meta User ID: This is the unique identifier we use to record your game stats (such as kills, weapon usage, and scores) and to attribute them to you on our leaderboards.
• Your Meta Username & Profile Picture: We display these on in-game leaderboards so you and other players can see who holds the top scores.

We only use this information to operate these core game features. We do not collect other personal information like your real name or email address.

Your Data Rights and Deletion Policy

You are in control of your data. We provide clear ways to have your data deleted and have policies to remove it when no longer needed. We will delete your User Data in the following cases:

• (a) By Your Request: You can request the deletion of your data at any time by sending an email to privacy@protoxr.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request." Please include your Meta User ID so we can identify your data.
• (b) When You Leave Meta: If you delete your Meta account or revoke permissions for AIM XR from your Meta settings, Meta notifies us automatically. We will then automatically delete your data.
• (c) When No Longer Needed (Data Retention): We do not keep data forever. If an account is inactive for 24 months, we automatically delete the associated User Data from our systems.
• (d) By Legal or Meta Requirement: We will delete your data if required by law or if we receive a formal request from Meta.

In all cases, deletion is processed promptly and completed from all our systems (including backups) within 120 days.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical security measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

AIM XR is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly obtain parental consent or remove the information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here.
